Disfruta del Bono Hostaleria 2026

Some news we love sharing. The restaurant at Finca Calderón has joined the Bono Hostaleria 2026, the Generalitat Valenciana’s programme that refunds 50% of what you eat and drink at bars and restaurants in the 103 municipalities affected by the DANA floods. Requena is one of them, so we decided to sign up.

The idea is simple: you come, you enjoy, you pay, and later you get part of the bill back. Like anything with an official stamp, it comes with small print, but we’ll walk you through it in plain terms.

What it covers (and what it doesn’t)

The bono refunds 50% of what you spend at the restaurant, up to €50 per person. First thing to know: it isn’t a gift card. You pay the full bill, and the Generalitat then sends your share back by bank transfer.

The numbers, clearly:

  • Each receipt must be €20 or more.
  • To get the full €50 back, you need to show at least €100 of spending, in one visit or several.
  • Only what you eat and drink here, at the restaurant, counts. No takeaway.

One more thing worth knowing now: the bono counts as a capital gain for Spanish income tax (IRPF). Nothing serious, but better it doesn’t catch you by surprise when you file your return.

Who can apply

Anyone over 18 who is registered on the padrón (the municipal register) in one of the 103 municipalities in the programme. They include Requena, Utiel, Buñol, Chiva, Cheste, Siete Aguas, Torrent and Paiporta, among many others. One application per person, and the bank account must be in your name.

If you live in the city of València, here’s the catch: only the southern districts qualify (Faitanar, La Torre, Forn d’Alcedo, Castellar-Oliveral, Pinedo, El Saler, El Perellonet and El Palmar).

How to get it, step by step

The order matters more than it seems. Skip a step and the receipt won’t count.

  1. Apply as soon as you can. Applications are made online at recuperemhosteleriaturismecv.gva.es, with your personal details, padrón registration and IBAN. The deadline is 30 November 2026, but funds are allocated first come, first served until the €3.9 million budget runs out. If you apply late, you may be put on a waiting list.
  2. Wait for approval. Only meals after the decision granting your bono count.
  3. Register your account with PROPER. This is the Generalitat’s register of bank accounts. You don’t need it to apply, but you do need it to get paid, using the same IBAN you gave in your application. If you’ve registered before, there’s no need to do it again. Here’s how it works.
  4. Come, eat and pay by card. The full bill, with a card in your name. No cash, and not your companion’s card. You have until 13 December 2026.
  5. Keep the receipt and the card machine slip. Both of them. Upload them in Mi solicitud (“My application”) by 15 December. Once they’re validated, the money arrives by transfer in about 30 days.

If you get stuck, the programme team can help at bonohostaleria@camaravalencia.com or on +34 96 136 61 99, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00.

And here, how does it work?

Just like any other meal, except this time the bill comes with a reward. Book a table at our restaurant and you’re all set.

A tip if you’re coming as a couple and you both have a bono: each of you needs your own receipt, paid with your own card. Just let us know when you ask for the bill and we’ll split it.

Applications close on 30 November.
