Can you imagine listening to the music from Gladiator, Interstellar or Schindler’s List performed live, with a glass of wine in hand and surrounded by vineyards?
On Saturday, 7 November, Finca Calderón will set the stage for a very special evening. The Sorolla String Quartet will be joining us to perform some of the most iconic film scores of all time, featuring compositions by Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
And since we love pairing great music with excellent wine and food, we’ve prepared two ways to enjoy the concert. Places are limited, so we recommend booking as soon as possible.
From Gladiator to Star Wars: a concert for film lovers
Some melodies are instantly recognisable from just a few notes. They take us straight back to a scene, a character or a film we’ve watched so many times we could almost recite the dialogue.
The Sorolla String Quartet will take us on a musical journey through ten unforgettable compositions from the history of cinema. The programme includes music from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Interstellar, The Lion King, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Schindler’s List and Jurassic Park, as well as Time, one of Hans Zimmer’s best-known compositions.
The musical journey begins at 8:15 pm, offering the chance to experience these iconic film scores through the intimacy and intensity of live string music.
